Join Me

An unabashed open letter in poetic form...

limbs easily tangled, our lips meet
two parts of a whole
coming together
outside of time, lost
in breath, small movements,
my heart pulses clean,
the rhythm of our perfect fit

we put aside our time-tested,
pleasurable tricks for this...
...this...I'm speechless, my love,
my profuse pen floats above
the expectant pages

how can I find words for
the way your eyes soften when you gaze at me or
the way you bury your face in my hair and just breathe or
the way you purse your lips and tilt your head back as we find our fit or
your sigh, your sigh, uniquely yours...

my darling heart, this,
we
are beyond orderly
lines and curves, fonts,
we
are pure bliss,
love.

Us : Realized

A candle lights my face, framed
by the glowing windowpane
swaying flame and I
wait, search the horizon for
the arrival, the steady progress of time
carrying in the palms of its hands
the humble future we've cradled
through divorce, exile
the pain we've caused one another
all the effort
all the dedication--remarkable,
they've said--focused directly,
without doubt, time approaches
out of the mist and takes
the shape of you
blurry outline, increasingly visible to my
searching eyes and expectant heart
I set out, my light to guide you,
a beacon of home to this union,
this us, this culmination,
confirmation
of our isolating solo journeys,
these pained souls scratching
for release, relief,
contact,
your trembling hand on mine
a single kiss
on my palm, the pulse of my hope
comes alive and
breathes into your dreams,
manifested.

Sassy, brassy Madame has been humbled by hopeless romanticism lately--more along the lines of my collaborative twitter account @theblackmonts. I hope you enjoy this piece!

My Cure

Come, my love and care
for me, I'm raw from these walls;
nakedly alone.

You should be right here,
breath on my neck, fingertips
grazing my pale skin.

It will never end
will it? Aching chest, longing
only you can cure.

I force the hope, that
one day, it will manifest
the elusive...It.

I don't want the world
I just want simplicity--
our clean, quiet life.

I don't need flashy
poetic ramblings, darling,
I need only you.

My one, my only.
My love.

I Can't Stand It

Those inspired pixels
still warm, a touch between my thighs
waiting for your mouth.

You got me wound up
so tight, one fingertip on
my neck I'll explode.

I'm wearing nothing
but my secret smile. My curves
vulnerable—yours.

You said you wanted
my sweat, my body, my will
complete surrender.

So get over here,
claim with lusty greed my skin
you've marked with your salt.

He Said ~ Birthday Series

A series of haiku written for my birthday--in one marathon session--by an immensely talented poet, my darling Gene (@QuietDaemon) Enjoy!

1. She's a constant gift / of light and lust and full heart, / my darling lady
2. So many features, / so many pieces to praise, / this woman, my muse
3. Each day that has passed, / this love has grown, a garden, / and you are my Eve
4. She ties it with ease, / the silver thread 'round my heart, / linked to her inked wrist
5. Rounding the bend of / your hips, my eyes start to glow, / fueled by fantasies
6. Across this wide world, / inside this virtual madhouse, / we found each other
7. A rip in space-time, / our love defies distances, / a cosmic romance
8. A wish on a flame, / to feel the heat of your lips / pressing into mine
9. Never "just" words, these / millions run as a river, / flowing to her heart
10. Unfurled at our feet, / our future rolls on and on-- / come, love, take my hand
11. Hypnotize me, love, / speak those words into my ears, / that you're mine...all mine
12. You wear it so well, / the gentle weight on your hand, / emblem of my love
13. Kiss me once for luck, / kiss me twice for safe keeping, / kiss me thrice...don't stop
14. The way that you walk, / the subtle bounce in your step, / your joy peeking through
15. How could we have known / that this would consume us whole, / this fire we started?
16. Let them ride the waves / of your hair, my fingers lost / in your red sunset
17. Now every love song, / every stirring melody, / makes me think of you
18. Our love's memories / form spirals, looping skyward, / where our dreams float free
19. I've unlocked the door, / set this heart free from my chest/ to run home to you
20. What more can I give, / what more can I sacrifice, / to have you here now?
21. We don't know the end-- / who truly does, anyway? / But we know our hearts
22. I stack kindling from / the forest of our love, to / burn through lonely nights
23. I want to sweep you / off your feet, kiss you soft, then / carry you to bed
24. Your eyes pierced my soul, / rending my silent resolve, / unleashing these words
25. If they be happy, / let me kiss your tears away / while holding you close
26. Clasping your fingers, / pulling you close enough to / inhale your fragrance
27. I may write 'til death / yet never fully show how / much you mean to me
28. Let the falling rain / echo these words that fall from / my enchanted mind
29. My mind grows weary-- / come here and take away my / langour with your touch
30. All day, a slideshow / of you running through my mind-- / I can't get enough
31. I want to feel your / body give in to my hands, / to rest against me
32. I want to feel your / breath on my throat, whispering / what you'll do to me
33. I want to feel your / heartbeat against my warm skin, / your unique rhythm
34. I want to feel your / sighs on the nape of my neck, / a mark, possession
35. I want to treasure / this newness, this beginning, / as our life takes shape
36. I want to wish you / the happiest birthday, my love, / from your smitten fool

Present

In mere days, I will hold
your gift on my beating heart
and feel it hum your song.

Again, I will stalk my mailbox…
It's here!
21st-century digital mixed tape.

Music fills me
swirls in my ears
every song, I hear your voice
every note
for me.

Share your passion, it's
almost
like you're here, I'm
overcome.

Should you ever leave,
I can't, I won't
ever listen again.

A current moves
straight to my heart
a surge, from this ring
yours
right to the very center
of me.

It Will Be

Blissed-out in the
haze of your touch,
my eyes flutter open,
your smile, soft brown eyes,
it's you--my love.

Twirling my hair in your fingers,
here,
this moment,
Us.

Plant kisses
down my spine
one
for every season you've
loved me.

My back your
canvas painted
white
hue of lust
our love.

I stare at you
with a smile
that never fades.

Stop talking,
darling, I want to hear
your heart.

I know life won't be perfect...
but it will be
*our* life.

Property Of

Branded
by your heat
pale skin glows
pink
a blush spreading
beneath hungry fingertips
my shuddering breath, all
I'm permitted to move
held still
by will and
your light touch
a reminder--
that I am yours
willingly claimed
property of…

Something a little racy for OpenLinkNight #69 at dversepoets.com ;)

A Craving

I hunger
I crave
I want you for
delicious little nibbles

my hands long to touch you
my mouth to taste you
my ears to hear you moan
long deep
tender hungry
wanting
possessing

your jaw, my pouty kisses
your collarbone, nibbles on thin skin
your chest, my roaming mouth explores

whisk away my towel
vulnerable
my curves--
all yours.

I'm wearing nothing but
my secret smile.
